After an extensive trip to Egypt, living on the edge of Cairo in the Yasmin of the New Cairo desert, Guemo Guem made his way to Luxor, to track the movements of the Exodus. From Luxor, he returned to Cairo and then journeyed by car to Suez where he then made his way around the Red Sea, before making it to Sinai, where he stayed among the Bedouin in Fox before going up the trail to Mt. Sinai, where he saw the mountain believed to be the one Moses climbed many years ago.

After a near death experience on the road where the tire almost popped on the highway in the mountains of Sinai, Guemo Guem decided that life was too short and precious to spend doing anything else but what he thought he was supposed to do with his life: telling stories. Creating drama. And sharing an honest, clear eyed vision of the world that can change the world. Because stories change the world more than the pipes or mediums that are used to .

Because Gutenberg might have changed the literary industry and the spread of information, but it was the Gutenberg Bible that left the greatest legacy on history: a story. The story was more important than what printed it and made it available to the masses. Gutenberg simply made it more available. For better or worse. So in the end, it was a story that changed the world. And I’m determined to tell stories that change the world for the better through honesty and by presenting truth to power: Accountability. And showing the Naked Emperors and Naked Empresses in all their naked glory.

The next week, after leaving Sinai, Geumo Geum flew back to LA and stayed briefly with his family in Dana Point, where he decided to pursue films as a director and writer, as an auteur instead of becoming a corporate lawyer. Having written fiction all of his life, which he self published online, Geumo Geum decided to take what he had learned in prose and apply it to film. He has been running ever since to make the movies he’s envisioned to share a better with the world, to show a better way, and to share with the world the vision of Geumo Geum, the way he sees the world, and the world he lives in, through his eyes.
